As a kid born and raised in southern california, Cary grew up exploring the San Fernando Valley on his bike. Cary was an enthusiastic model maker and an avid reader. A regular at the public library, he checked out books on history, animals, and anything explaining the way things worked. This ignited a curiosity of the way things were made.
Cary started drawing at a young age creating doodles in the margins of his notebooks and papers, probably inspired by Mad Magazine. Those skills grew into more elaborate drawings but it wasn’t until University when the Russian language program was discontinued, (Cary was on his way to being a translator) that a friend recommended him to change course and take Art and design classes. The art and design classes led him to his true calling as the Art Director/ Designer he is today.
